well, I thought I would throw this in here as a incentive for anyone who is considering trying to shine up his or her vintage appliances. This floor polisher was in the free pile at a garage sale here about 6 months ago. I have passed on a few of these but this one had the Buffing pads and the price was right. We use this all the time to clean the old linoleum floor and polish it up with floor wax. It was tan colored with the paint peeling off, and the other guy had rattle canned it with green paint. I stripped that off the day I got it home. The sticker was no good so it went too and I can't remember the make.

Whoah. That looks amazing!

It looks like a Regina to me, I have two of them from around the same time period, both are a metallic turquoise, one has a dispensing tank and in almost new condition (can't remember how much I paid, wasn't more than $10 or so), other one is in poor shape but was only a dollar. I bought them at the Salvation Army in downtown Renton.

Well, it's a GOOD kind of CRAZY!

NOW take it back and show the man from the garage sale what he's missing! Rattle-canned, indeed!

I agree that it looks like a Regina. I have a turquoise model that is a Regina and the base and the fluid container look VERY similar.

Rattle-canned. I've never heard that term. I like it. I would agree with most here that it is probably a Regina....

I'm detecting some vintage appliances in the background - your profile says "lots" under appliances....

Have you perhaps seen our sister site AW.org?
