Gold Hoover Convertible 65 - spruced up

I finally got the Gold 50th Anniversary Convertible cleaned up.

-Cleaned the black gunk off of the cord and bumper
-Replaced the hood (still have the original)
-Put a white handle grip on
-Put an outer bag from a 1076 on

I still have to polish the base and handle with wax and repaint the brush roll. The motor didn't need anything, it still sounds nice.

Very nice but I just have one question why would u put a different bag on it wouldn't that wreck the authenticity of the machine just my opinion?

The other bag wasn't original, it wasn't even Hoover. It was a Eureka bag...

Oh ok I see I didn't really pay attention that makes sence lol. But must say it is a real beauty!
