I will be moving overseas this summer and will be dissolving my collection of around 200 machines.
Anyone around here looking to add to their collection?
I am not mailing any vacuums as I am too busy to coordinate that.
I will drop off at Fed Ex and let them pack/ship. That can be pricey but I doo have some rare vacs that someone may want badly enough to shoulder the expense.

Right now I am trying to get locals to drop by.
The house sold far faster than I would have thought and we have decided to move over seas.
So I need to sell as many as possible as quickly as possible.

I have two concept 2 vacuums. I believe one has the dust buster the other doesn’t.
No pre-war vacs, nothing before 1965 really.
I am in North County San Diego near the coast.

Cali

Encinatas, Cardiff, carlsbad or Oceanside at camp pendelton?
I don't care about job offers that area is love to live. We have a timeshare at the Wyndham in Oceanside. We go every other year. It's beautiful.

I have the complete Miracle Mate and dozens of other great vacs now in storage.
We have moved from a large house with a huge garage, to now, an apartment with no consequential storage options.
That means I have much more time than weeks ago when I was under a deadline. But things are now jumbled and hard to lay my hands on.
I plan to thin my storage spaces in the coming weeks and create some room to work with.

Sold a few vacs today.
Hopefully the happy buyer will post about his experience to verify I am legitimate about my claims.
Although I am now long out of circulation on VL having switched over to washers and dryers years ago (AW), I have posts on this website that are 7 years old if not older, and hundreds more over subsequent years.

Today a nice Hoover Dial, a sublime Miele canister, a svelte Hoover Convertible (second thoughts on this one), and an oh so sweet late issue Hoover Concept 1 in dark blue, all found a new home for an average very low price. They was another vac I forgot, a metal Royal maybe?
Any 2 of these vacuums alone would fetch more on EBay than the lot of 5 vacs went for.

Because I have to sell a lot of stuff to reach a lot of other stuff, there is no danger of all the best vacuums being cherry picked right away. Also my collection is extremely varied (though all 1965+ vintage) so I think I will have ample supply to browse for the foreseeable future.

Another happy customer made the trip down from the LA area.
He scored an all original blue Hoover convertible with blue bag (headlight model) in fabulous condition.
Also he got a Concept I with cord retractor, also great condition, and an early Blue Dialamatic.
Wow!
I should have snapped a pic of the line up.
Don’t worry sports fans we literally only scratched the surface as those machines were on the top and near the front of my storage space.
