A cordless Platinum linx and a bagged Tempo will be arriving shortly. Seeing my late cousin's Tempo in the closet had me thinking. She "listened to me" about a 2nd floor cleaner. I know it's plastic, but it IS a U.S design, it IS bagged, and, probably the best HOOVER for the money at the moment. I guess it's like a 28, if you collect, you SHOULD have one. WE'll see about that linx.

I bought a Tempo brand new in 2008 and it is now in the hands of my uncle. He sure is not the type to take care of things, but this Hoover has withstanded almost 5 years of abuse. Last I heard it was still running perfectly. Pretty impressive for an $80 plastic vacuum. But it is a Hoover of course.

Please post some pictures when they arrive. It's not everyday you get to see two new Hoovers!

Well, they arrived!!

I haven't run them yet, but, they were at my door the other day. I'll post pics soon. I have numerous new in box vacuums, steamers, etc. A few ads and another "Hannah HOOVER" arrived too.I was bidding on a few other items, but "MY GOOD FRIEND TOM ANDERSON FROM NORTH CANTON OHIO" bid on them too. I'd rather he get them.

I think the Hoover Tempo is the best value under $100!

Great suction, great agitation, great filtration when paired with hepa bags. My Aunt has had one for 2 1/2 years, it was $85. It is still going strong, and the only thing that has needed replacing is the belt. I think it has been replaced 3-4 times now. My only complaints when using it is it's loud, and they cheapened the attachments. It doesn't have a stretch hose either. The only other upright that I would buy new under $100 would be a Eureka The Boss 1934b.

Thanks, Rob!

You'll see them all the next time you're here. I'm getting another GUV, as well. I gave one to my aunt, have a New In Box, and, will uses this one here at the house.

I have several NIB machines. THey're all over the palce. I know of a Windtunnel, Hand steamer, Steam mop, Cordless steam mop/Floor a matic (odd little machine I picked up at "Tuesday Morning" store, a corded and a cordless Linx, a Cannister, a Helpmate, a Brushvac, and a plethora of vault machines. I'm getting ready to attack the cats' apartment/HOOVER Gallery soon.

I'll post pics soon.

Been a little busy. My cousin passed away (another). Her funeral is this Saturday. My closest aunt is having a biopsy, and, I'm working with a totally deaf student. He's great, but emotionally draining.
I know some of ye will enjoy seeing my pics. One came from "MY GOOD FRIEND, TOM ANDERSON FROM NORTH CANTON, OHIO". lolol

Thanks, Nathaniel,

All will be ok. I learned that the funeral is NEXT Saturday. There's a service in Virginia, then final MAss, burial here. I'm glad they told me. I ironed my shirt and everything.
I'll def post pics. I'm trying to round up some other machines. If I can get to the vault cleaners, I'll do that too.
Now that I could bwe home, perhaps my phone stalker will call. I learned that one of them is from New Jersey.
John.

Since this was only run twice,

it should be considered "new". It came from my good friend, Rick. Hope you enjoyed a few items here. There are more, but I really can't get to them all at the moment. I know of a GUV, cannister, and an Elite Upright,as well as a steam mop and a cordless steam mop. Some are packed away safely.

I intentionally covered the sale price

on that Portapower because, I didn't want to be crass and brag. Suffice it to say, it was a great deal. So many of them have been. I was GIVEN a Windtunnel toy personally by Mr. Dick Pike. The Windtunnel was the last project he worked on at North Canton HOOVER. I have 2 of them. He was terribly kind.

A few new "arrivals"..........pics soon.

I finally got the "blue" ANNIVERSARY Windtunnel (now, I have both), and a HOOVER "Air". I must get a photo ready of these others. They are all over the place and I'm getting ready for th convention!!!!!! I believe a few more "newbies" will be coming home to PA very soon. This brand new Windtunnel was dirt cheap... only peoblem was it is missing a dusting brush. Who cares, for THAT price? Also, I now have 2 little orange "bugs" cannisters. One was $19.00 (had a coupon) and one was $16.00 missing a wand. I've got tone of those. These sell for $59.00---$69.00 in the stores. I'm lucky, I suppose.

Thanks John:
I sure do hope we get be finally meet at the Vacuum Cleaner Museum one day soon. You and I have several friends in common, and they tell me great things about you and your collection.

Like so many of us, I too love Hoover - especially the very vintage models from the first decade of production.

You and I are only 9 days apart, and Taurus gets along very well with Gemini.

Remember: "However Clean - Hoover Cleaner"!!!
