Changing the C bag . . .
One trick that makes changing the C-type bag go more smoothly is that after I slide the clean bag onto the tube, I run a strip of masking tape around the end of the bag. This holds in the two flaps that hang out, and the retainer ring rolls easily onto the bag without catching and pulling (or even tearing) those flaps. Works for me. I do a lot of Kirbying, but I also Hoover, and happy Hoovering is a good thing.
