There's a novel idea...

store the vacuum by hanging the entire thing on the closet wall with the hose draped over it - instant Wall Art.

Curious way to install the dustbag around the intake but if I see correctly it looks like there's the usual cloth bag in a rubber ring that gets clamped when the cover goes on, and the additional paper bag (upgrade/afterthought?) sits inside that fitted around the intake tube. ??? Really, a good method for all of us to retrofit a dust liner inside our vintage cloth bags for use in our modern age - simply jam a cardboard or PVC tube into the cover and slide on any filter bag that suits. I like it.

Hi Charlie

Thank you very much for posting this. I didnt realize that they used the tool saddle in Europe too. (LOL - its only in the last couple of years that I've even found the Canadian one). Its really interesting to see how similar, yet different, they were to ours.

Dave - re- wall hanging - That was a very common thing on European machines. Besides the Electrolux I also have Vactric and Ruton Machines that have a loop on the bottom for hanging them up.
