That rug/floor tool
Did G.E. switch to this rug/floor tool for the 3rd gen.? I never seen this one with a Roll Easy before now. It also matches a shade of green that was used on the Swivel-Top with the cord rewind.

Yes, the third generation switched to the rug/floor cleaning "unit" (as GE called it).
