Well the snow is gone, and the flowers are starting to bloom. Which can only mean one thing, Garage sale season! So I started to wonder what machines you guys have picked up at garage sales and also what ones you will be looking for this year.

yes,

over the years, I have bought a lot of vacuums at garage sales, here are some that I remember: Panasonic Jet flo upright $2, Dirt devil Vision upright $5(my first bagless vacuum), older style Hoover Tempo $3, BOL Hoover convertible, $2, Hoover Concept 1 power drive $2, Electrolux Super J $5, Electrolux Olympia 1 $3, TOL Kenmore whispertone upright $1(needed a new belt), Eureka Whirlwind bagless $1(needed a new belt), 2001 Hoover runabout upright $7.50, 2008 Hoover nano lite $5, Kenmore Magic blue canister(bad motor)FREE, Eureka 2330 f&g style upright $2, Hoover Windtunnel Dual v bagless $3, 1940's Westinghouse hand vac $3, Fantom Thunder Bagless $5, and I'm sure I forgot some, that's about 16! (Actually, probably more like 20)

Eureka Whirlwind bagless $1(needed a new belt)

What is it with people and not changing belts

I got a Hoover Convertible at a yard sale for 50 cents! The light worked when I first got it, but I tried putting it in my Elite because my Elite's light is burnt out!

yall saw mine so far......

A Panasonic 6220 three speed $3.00, and a 1986 Kenmore 3.6 Powermate canister for free.

On my end-not much luck for vacuum cleaners or other appliances so far-mostly baby clothes, toys, and baby furniture.I didn't go to the yard sales last week-cold and rainy-just figured I would be wasting time, gas and tire, shoe leather on looking at baby things.
