Whoever buys this is going to be very disappointed…

I've had a couple of disappointing experiences on eBay myself recently. Really wish sellers would be of integrity, honest, and forthright with the actual condition of their items. Would also help if they sell the actual correct items.

Oh well. Idiots everywhere, right???

"disappointed" with G4???

If we look beyond the wrong attachments (that could be useless OR a bonus if you had a Heritage) and the worn bag (that may have been rubbed against a brick fireplace or similar) and look at the lack of scratches on the nozzle and the condition of the brush we may be seeing a low mileage Kirby in good condition.
This seller seems to sell a variety of items and may not be a vac expert. If I needed a Kirby and got it at anywhere near the starting bid of $29 I would not use the word "idiot" but would say "Thank You"!

The fact is that you are a vacuum expert.

The average person, just browsing on eBay for a vacuum, might see this auction and think they have found a one-click solution.  You and I know they have not.  They will still have to find a hose and supplies despite the fact that they think they got them with this auction (the auction says a hose is included, but none is pictured).  If they are not somewhat of an expert like you or I, they are going to have a bit of difficulty and uncertainty in doing so.

eBay selling standards require that you spell out any defects, problems, or issues with your auction.  Nowhere in that auction is it mentioned that these attachments do not fit the vacuum they are being sold with.  In fact, it is made to look like these are the correct attachments, thereby falsely adding value.  That is a violation of selling standards and is setting up the customer and ultimately the seller for disappointment, hassle, and frustration.

Furthermore, one may win the auction at $29, but one will also pay $50.13 to ship.  So that is $79.13 for a good upright without a disposable bag, no hose, and the wrong attachments being touted as correct.  Perhaps a bargain for the collector, but for the layman with no vacuum expertise, this is an utter joke.

And THAT is idiotic and a waste of time.  Such sellers sully the name of selling with integrity on eBay.
