That is one sweet vintage machine.
The metal Royals, Everlast and commercial models, are the sole survivors of that basic upright design, and it would seem the least attractive.
 
I may be completely mistaken, but I don't think there ever was a hose or tools for this, if you wanted attachment cleaning you were given the option of buying the handvac for such uses, the handvac did have attachments for it. I know this is how Singer did it, and another brand or 2.

Wow! If I could afford it I'd buy that attachment set for my PR21 Premier! This is a before pic--don't think I have any after restoration pics.
