just got this today. it's the only one i've seen on ebay that had the hose nozzle & hose for it. no attachments though. the bag needs some patching but over all good condition.

to vinvac: air flow compared to a kirby.

the kirby is so much stronger there's almost no comparing.i like the nostalgic look & metal case of the G.E. it needs some polishing. it works well though. THANKS !

That GE is the vac I grew up with. My brother was terrified of it.IT was my parents first vac bought in 1948. We had it until the early 70's. IT went to the repair shop many times. It just kept falling apart. In the end nothing stayed put anymore. The hose was very difficult to attach.
When we got our new 1020 Hoover Convertible it was a breath of fresh air. Easy conversion, paper bag,quiet,and it was built very well. Very nostalgic to see that pic, thanks!
