Today I went to visit one of my clients to tune her piano. She requested I clean out the inside of her grand piano so told her I will go get my vacuum out of my car and she insisted I use hers since it was heavy raining. She came back with a hose for a central vac but had an outlet in her living room but not in her music room with wood floors. She dragged the hose across and came up six feet short. With the words, "hold on let me get the slack out," she jerked the hose hard and a side table leg snapped with the hose wrapped around it. All the items on the table including a big fancy lamp came smashing down. She looked at me and I at her and I in the end grabbed my umbrella to go to the car.

Could that incident be described as the "Drag Along tragedy?"Sort of funny in a way-the table tripped up by the vac hose!Better LOOK before you yank on the hose-glad you did not do it!Thats the thing I don't like about central vacuums-the hose is TOO long and can cause "accidents".In this case bet the CUSTOMER was embarrased!

It was funny until I read the part about the fancy lamp crashing to the floor!
