Okay...I know the S6 vacs aren't even plugged in, but doesn't this video put a smile on your face?

Kind of makes sense that Miele's lightweight and compact canisters would be a hit in Japan. And these 4 Japanese guys look like they all belong right here at Vacuumland....

Enjoy.....

And here's another longer video showing most of Miele's current line of attachments.

Really interesting to see how they use the Parquet Brush on Japanese straw Tatame Mats! Every Japanese home has at least one Tatame room where the floor is covered with this flat material.

I know the Country Western music theme can become annoying, but what a small Global Village we now live in! German vacuum products marketed in Japan using a video that has American country western music!

1st video--Presenting------The Japanese Meile vacuum drill team!!!Maybe the vacuum should play music for them to dance to--mine doesn't.
2nd video-good demo of the Meile tools-including 'ol stumpy the crevice tool!Guitarist:::Could you quit playing the same chords over and over!Guess he was practicing. And the demo of that long crevice tool-lady saying--"Mouse I an going to get you!"Matteress tool-"This will teach you,you dust mites!"Liked that miniature side sort of turbo tool-just unique.Wished they had those here-just want one for some reason.Just kinda neat.

I don't know if you could call this globalisation, this word makes me cringe because its globalisation that ruined our economy, I mean the countries involved are western based cultures and traditions, even Japan is definitely more westernised than you think, I know I have been there. Amazing people and very chilled, very cautious people. The taxi man who took me from the airport to my hotel was driving a Toyota Crown taxi I think it was, with doors that swing open and closed by the driver pressing a button. So cool, but it was how gentle he was driving it, like when he put his indicators on, it was very delicately, just fascinating.

Great video, never seen someone so enthusiastic about vacuuming ahah! Definitely puts a smile on your face. Very different to the dyson advert you get in the UK and US, which are informative, but a bit repetitive.

never though

Of Miele being big in Japan really!

I know australia is a HUGE market for Miele, usually people with one product have a whole house eventually filled with Miele.

One thing...

None of the vacuums were plugged in.
How and why are they "vacuuming" (they turn it on by the foot pedal) when the machine isn't even plugged in?

Silly and pointless.

Uh, maybe part of the reason the birth rate in Japan is so far below replacement? Just asking .....................
