I’m giving away my Royal 2075. Bought it in 1998 and have the receipt. Had the cord replaced a year later because I drove over it with the vacuum and it stripped off the outer coating. I didn’t realize how powerful it was back then! I have the receipt for that as well. Includes original manual, a new belt, original belt lifter, and 4 OEM Royal bags. Light bulb needs to be replaced, which I have, but just never got around to doing it.

It works great but is too heavy and awkward for me to carry up and down the stairs of the split level house I bought last year. Needs to have the handle stop plate replaced. I can’t remember what was wrong with it, but right before I was going to take it to the vacuum store to be replaced, my ex “fixed it” by cutting off the two middle locks, so it either locks at the top or moves freely down to the bottom. Based on the parts list from Appliance Factory Parts it’s part number R-133716, but they no longer carry the part. This looks like it might be the right one: https://www.powellvac.com/shop/Part...yal-Handle-Stop-Plate---Part-No-133716000.htm

I live near Seattle and would love for someone who’s into vacuums to have it. If that isn’t possible, hopefully someone can tell me whether Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace or OfferUp are good places to advertise or if there are any other options. Thanks!

I imagine the shipping would be extremely expensive. Is that something you’ve done before? My hope was to give it to someone locally.
