I'm giving away a free Montgomery Wards Canister Vacuum. This was a very nice vacuum when I left it at the house, but unfortunately some uncaring person removed the bag, didn't change it, and then left the vacuum in an open storage building. Motor still works, and the vacuum needs the snap in hose. Its worth fixing, and I am happy to ship it to anyone who needs it. Vacuum accepts Hoover bags, and Montgomery Wards likely rebranded a Hoover.

I always look at big American vacuums with all their features, then I look at the very basic Electrolux 328 and just sigh.
Old Eurekas like that are/were every bit as good as same year Electrolux canisters. I have vintage examples of both. I get the Swedish Electroluxes from Japan and can run them on US house current so I have some hands on with the old Swedish machines.

Looks like this one dates to the early-to-mid-1970s, possibly a model SP-391A from 1972 or SP-319A from 1977.

Have a look, Ben ... Champagne Beige in 1972 and Fawn Beige in 1977; unfortunately I saw no model IDs:
