Yes, these were supposed to have been dispositioned long ago...
However, three local buyers ended up leading me on and two online ones backed out. At the same time I had an emergency medical procedure and was out of action until about now.
I have recovered most of the way but phase 2 starts early Sept and I will be down for many months after then. This years projects have been postponed indefinitely.
Therefore if anyone wants these, please respond (and follow through) before August. They will be discarded before then as the patio will have to be cleared out.
All Kirby units with motors work fine electrically with normal current draws.
No cords, emtors, or bags included.
FOUR of these are good enough for restoration or even regular use after adding a bag assy and cord and replacing the belt and maybe the roller brush. If you plan to restore some I will pick out the best ones and make sure all parts are there, less bags, emtors, and cords.
I have:
2 Classic 1CRs - good condition. They are dirty but will clean and shine up well. Very suitable for restorations - just add bags and cords.
2 Classic 1CRs - fair condition. They are very dirty and are scratched up but still could be usable as vacuums or restored with more elbow grease. and cleaning. (I can include extra castings if any are better then what is on them now.)
5 Classic 1CR casting sets, two with working motors. Many are scratched and are dirty but are usable for vacuum use, or could be sanded and polished to look close to new. Not all are pictured.
I also have one complete shampooer set for the Classic 1CR. Box is not pretty but its contents look to not have been used - it is all extremely clean.
Many Classic 1CR parts interchange with the D50 and D80 and some earlier models. Let me know if you have questions.
First come, first serve.
Locals can take all they want for free. I can ship them for the cost of shipping only... Based on recent experience, shipping for whole units range between $30 for one unit without the long metal handle to $45 for two entire units in a full-size Kirby box.
Parts and 1CR bare motors of course will be less to ship, depending on what you want. If you send me your zip code and a wish list I can estimate a shipping cost.
Please send a private email or message to me if interested in any of this. I check email only once an evening so expect a delay in communication. Feel free to ask general questions in the thread.
Hate to chunk them, but will have to soon; things will be changing this summer...
