Hello there! I am giving away this non-working Electrolux model 1205 vacuum cleaner.

I am not sure what is wrong with it. The indicator light comes on when you flip the switch, but nothing happens. I don't really have a use for this vacuum, so I am hopeful that someone can use it for parts to fix their Electrolux vacuum!

It does have a hose that comes with it which is in fair shape, but does have a little abrasion to the weaving. It also has two small accessories that were with it when I got it.

I live in South St. Louis County. Please let me know if you are interested in picking it up.

I wish we lived closer together. I'm kind of coo coo for these Electroluxes right now.
Not that I would have any idea what's wrong with it. And, I know me. I wouldn't want to part it out, even though I need a couple of small bits and pieces for my current 1205. I'd want to get it working.
On second thought, maybe it's a good thing we don't live closer together. 😉

JustJunque, yeah, seems like you live across the country. My hope is that someone local, or semi local will want to pick this up maybe on the way to some other event / happening.

I think it's awesome you are offering the Electrolux. The motor will not turn on without a disposable bag inside. You can open the front door, plug it in, turn the switch on so the light is illuminated, then push the grey button on the inside of the bag door to test that the motor starts.

Hi dysonman1. I did make sure that there was a bag in the vacuum before trying it. I should have mentioned that if I press the bag switch, the light goes off and the motor still doesn't run.
