Mike...
I'll get a picture of the old Silvertone this weekend. I've got several old receivers: 2 Sansuis, a Kenwood (currently on loan), a GE integrated unit, and of course the Sears.
The Sears is actually old enough to use Germanium transistors in it and surprisingly has not even one IC chip in it. Even FM tuning is 100% analog in it. For being rated at only 35 watts, it will SLAM. I've read on some forums that it is capable of putting out well over 100 watts per channel with 60-70 RMS being pretty typical into an 8Ω speaker coil. Talk about under-rated!
