Found an Airway!!! finally

I finally found an Airway with all the attchments I think. Unfortunately it was missing the wands and hose, but at least I got the machine so far. They're not very common around here to say the least.
Oh and look at all the other stuff... two Hoover porta's, another Kenmore Handvac, a plethora of bags and some odds and sods attachments. .. Oh and a Kirby Classic tool box and attachments.

Way to go, Pete! I think Air-ways are simply wonderful designs and objects...and as my earlier post #1882 points out, they are Top of the Suction Heap.
What I see in your picture - you have the two curved wands...with the hose-less ends stuck in 'em. All you're missing is a length of hose stock. Hit your favorite Vac Repair shop and select a suitable color and affix those nozzles yourself. (if by luck you manage to find stock in turquoise I surely want to know so I can get me some, too)

I spy with my little eye a nice looking cranberry red Electrolux floor tool...

Now tell us where these lovely items were found?

I got the Airway at the flea market downtown here, the two Hoover Porta powers and the Kenmore Handvac at Goodwill, all the bags and attachments and Kirby box at a junk store nearby which when you ever make it here I will divulge, you will be shocked when you see the place,, shocked I tell you... LOL
I also found these two little gems there, you can't quite see them in the big mess of things pic above.

BTW... the Habitat restore here has an older tube type, tone wheel generator smaller Hammond spinet (drawbars), the case is near immaculate (lighter blond wood, not dark), I couldn't get it to play, possibly tubes need replacing though they looked to heat up.. Are you interested in those?

Ah yes, Pete. We have a huge ReStore outlet here in Stratford where I've found a few finds but there's no more room for large keyboard organs here anymore. In fact I sold off a Hammond C (a B with closed sides carved with trefoil arches) with two Leslie cabinets from a church up the street to help fund the pipe organ project many years back.
The ReStore folks know to hold good vacs in back, since I'm in at least once a week. That's where I got this $4.00 forlorn blue & pink 716 stuffed with mouse nests & barn flotsem and jetsom. Cleaned up not half bad.

Also from the Restore...how could I resist this stylishly cute & surprisingly powerful Hoover Tempo 450 ? Made in the early 1990s, I think. Uses the half size type R bag. One of the daily/weekly drivers upstairs, its light weight is ideal for scrubbing up Dexter's long black fur from the duvet cover.

Just one more...

Alongside the Tempo was this charming industrial vacuum that also has a shoulder strap. Remove the cloth bag and its a wet vac, too. But it was the chrome hubcaps on those rubber tires that clinched it. It follows you around like a pull toy.

Monday is my day off and since its clearly not going to be good sunny boating weather I'm gonna head off to London to do the thrifty rounds and also see if my vac guy there can rustle up derelict 1950/60 G.E hose ends to copperplate for the Roll-Easy. I'll keep spreading the word about the GE hose and something is bound to turn up.

If you find a Hammond B at anyplace cheap--BUY IT!! you could fix it up and sell it for $$ to someone else!Folks into music and recording studios love em!Used an Advance 'Papoose" vacuum at the first station I worked at-a PBS TV station had one-great for vacuuming out the transmitter and the Quad VTR's shows how long ago it was.the yard sales so far have been mondane hear-primarily baby clothes and things-no cool appliances or vacuums.

Thanks Charlie, I've got a few bags but I don't have the hose and I'm wondering what it looks like, plus the hose ends..not sure if those wands shown in my pic above are for the Air-Way or not? Could you post a pic of the hose and the hose ends so I'll know what I'm looking for.

Pete,

The hose ends look correct but you will need a new hose to fit the vacuum. I'm sure you know that the correct matching hose no longer exists. Air-Way only has black, plastic hoses.

I'm leaving tomorrow for Chicago to pick up Ida and then we are flying via broomsticks to Omaha. While I'm gone, the electrified fence is on and the crocks are in the moat. Security at it's best! The Rotweilers add a nice touch too.

When I get back, I can assist you more with your new Air-Way.

The curved wands in your picture are indeed for your Air Way!!! Yay! there is a hose end with the suction bleeder valve there in the wand but i don't see the machine hose end. BTW, i have not forgotten about the Gold square top Eureka bag for you. I am still going through things in storage but i will find it. Congrats on all the cool finds!!!!
