I have discovered an Apex Rotarex Renovator in an old Victorian attic which we are doing up in Norfolk, England. We are guessing it`s age at about 1920-1930. It`s chrome and in original box, although used and in reasonable condition. I have never seen one like this nor can I find anything like it on the net. I wish to sell and would welcome initial contacts.

Like others have mentioned, can you kindly post some pictures please. Can you also see if there is a voltage noted on the ratings plate please for, as far as I am aware, Apex machines were not sold here in the UK

Many thanks

Al

Thanks to those of you who have replied. Unfortunately my father has died and all this has had to take a back seat. I will get back and include picture/ serial nos etc as soon as.

Rotarex..

Picture a metal top about as big around as a large dinner plate at the top with the hose coming out in the middle, you set it in the middle of the room and it would roll around, just like a toy top on its side, Jimmy Martin has one, they were made up until WW2.

Above description is good(but I have only seen and do not have one).I think they were sold in at least parts of Europe. They are even more rare than Apex vacs or washers of this period.I think one Apex ad has a small picture but do not know what the complete outfit was and like others would like to see pictures when time allows.
