Hi Ben,

You're probably right; although I have actually seen a late 1980s or early 1990s (according to the date-marked serial number) F & G automatic with the E/W logo. Eureka was known to use up NOS, including decals and enamels, at times long after they had been retired or replaced.

Another example that comes to mind is the Lagoon Blue model 1405 manufactured in the mid-1970s; even though that enamel color had been retired as the main one in the late 1960s.
