It's been sitting in the back of the vac shop i frequent for a while now. the pre-motor filters were very dirty some of the cyclones were cloggged. It looked like a "fun" machine cause it was different and i find turbine powered tools intriguing despite their lack of performance, i did do a test run in the back and it picked up alright, then i was curious how it performed so i used some parts and a straight suction tool...picked up a lot of fine grit and sand the turbine missed, but anyways for $10 i wasn't gonna pass it up it'll be interesting to play with. i've cleaned it up a little but it's a little too late in the night to use it now.

Very cool vac...

I love that dual cyclone look. Reminds me of a jetpack, the kind Sean Connery used as James Bond.

How does this canister perform compared to a current design, like the DC23 with the Root 3 cyclone design?

You are very lucky to find one for only $10. Congrats!
