It was a perfect day today, so my dad took me to a flea market where I got some amazing finds!! It was packed today first of all, buyers and vendors. My first find was an orange Hoover Convertible Model 4033 for 10 dollars. It is in very sad condition, but it is probably one of my smoothest running convertibles! Does anyone have a headlight lens they'd ship me for it?

Next was a NEW IN BOX Hoover Scrub 'N' Vac!!! When I saw this I went crazy! It has everything with it, and for only $25!! I have two of these now!

Next is a Hoover Twist 'N' Vac with the box, hose and attachments, and the manual for $5. I have the newer Sidewinder version of this at home.

Lastly, a Kenmore Destiny Plus. This thing is absolutely mint, but unfortunately it is missing the sealing that goes around the top of the dust cup! So when it is on, you lose all of the suction! I paid $20 for this, not knowing it was missing that, but I can get one pretty easily I think.

I passed up a Commercial Oreck for $30, a VERY sad condition Self Propelled Dirt Devil Cruiser for $35, a Green Self Propelled Windtunnel (not sure of the price), a Dirt Devil Mop Vac with the box for $12, and a green hard case Hoover Elite for $10. There is also a vacuum repair shop and there was the weirdest Hoover Windtunnel in there!! It was burnt orange, and it said 'Farrington Self Propelled Windtunnel' and it had the Hoover logo on it. I don't know what the heck it was but it sure was neat!

The Kenmore Destiny is a Fantom Thunder. Kenmore had their own version of the Thunder and the Lightning, known as the Destiny

Chase. that scrub and vac is a fantastic find. You just can't beat new in box!!

I've passed on so many Fantoms due to condition, but now I'm going to start picking them up for parts. Parts seem to be difficult to get now. Usually, the Hepa filter housing is damaged in some way on the ones I see.

I've got one Amway Clear Trak that is functional but missing the complete dirt canister. I'm not going to hold my breath on that one, but I may find another that is shot and has the canister intact.
