Regina became iona in late 80s early 90s. If my husband is correct it then became fantom technology. The company that ride dysons coat tails.
I have an iona hand vacuum and it's a beast.

Fingerhut broom

I have this exact one in the Ebay listing along with a green one. It looks like they copied just about every part of a Regina Electrikbroom but made each part a little different to avoid trademark lawsuits. Everything from the switch to the floor nozzle to the bag is modeled very closely to a 1960's and early 70's Regina economy style Electrikbroom.

The top white portion of the bag mount is much cheaper and snaps together instead of the two piece screw together setup Regina used. Both of mine have stress cracks from pushing the bag up and down to loosen dirt into the cup. The dirt cup is also not as well designed with a less substantial lever to secure the cup!

The interesting thing is that literally nothing save the cord is interchangeable to a Regina or Iona broom. The bag size and diameter are different. The nozzle diameter is not the same so the FH version won't fit the Regina. The dirt cups are not compatible either and even though the switch looks similar it too is sized smaller.
Even the motor is completely different! The 60's and 70's were the real heyday when the Regina's were selling in the millions. I'm sure this prompted Fingerhut to concoct up their own version and try and get in on the action. Judging by the extreme rarity of these I would say they would have been better off doing what Sears did and just change the badge and bag design.
