I found this cleaner leaves the electric waste stage last week. I saved the vacuum cleaner because otherwise it would have gone to landfill. Fortunately, it took a drop left the stage and it was everything else under the debris. When I tried it the fan was really loud noise. Then I opened up the entire engine and clean it. Now the noise is much lower and it sounds normal. This is a pretty rare model. This vacuum cleaner is called in Finland vahvatassu which in english means a strong paw=)

This vacuum cleaner is a 80-early
power is 750W

Just out of curiosity is there many canister vacs that have power nozzles in ur part of the world or are they mostly straight suction? Zach

hoover S4086

Hey!
Zach: Most vacuum cleaners are cylinder, perhaps 95%. Here are not generally used for power nozzles. Here are sold in some kirby, lux and vorwerk vacuums. I think that the majority of vacuum cleaners are miele and electrolux brand.

Seamus: How do you produce the type of plate. It would be nice to know.
Actually my birthday is in September 1979. Funny coincidence=)

Power nozzles

Zach,

Whilst Markus is correct in what he says about current vacuums, I believe the TOL version of this cleaner had a power nozzle, almost unique in the UK at that time. The some models in the successor ranges, Compact (your Sprint) and Sensotronic (Dimension 1000?) models also offered PNs (different and smaller to US models), but again still unique. For some reason PNs have not caught on here - why not I dont know as I like them and the Hoover PN was very good indeed.
