Reggie, does this vacuum also have the two motors? One direc

Yes, it does. I think its a very interesting way of doing things, but it does have ton of power.

I still can't get over the fact that they kept delaying it this long.

Really very nice Riccar Radiance.Have the older red colored one.The first one offered. Will ask the Riccar dealer here about the new "pearlescent White" one.Wonder if Riccar corrected the clogging problems on the early machines.I have had it happen thrice. You have to be careful what it picks up.The primary motor fan discharge is VERY narrow.A wad of paper, toothpick or similar item will cause clogs.the Riccar dealer here has unclogged other machines similar to mine.

That was a very early correction, they redesigned the entire fan chamber/fan. They also made the hose path smoother and less likely to clog. The new red models also have a check filter light, like mine, along with not having the need to ever afjust the bag or belt sensor ever (which were a headache on the earlier models)

They are offering 2 models, the red one is the "standard" model, while the white will be the "Radiance Premium". The differences are a longer stretch hose, dirt sensor, combo tool, and it comes with the HEPA Plus filter already installed. All for a few hundred more...

Congrats!!

An absolutely beautiful upright. Very well thought out and put together. Yaaa for Riccar!! I "test drove" the red model at Duane Taylor's store. An absolutely amazing machine. Definitely my pick and favorite of contemporary uprights. Some Day ...
Enjoy!!

Read the fine print...

And no.

Wonder what percentage of the parts are actually made from beginning to end in the US...?

Or, maybe they just have all the parts made in China (or Korea, or Hong Kong, or Mexico, or Malaysia...) then assemble the cleaners in the US.

I do agree that there are parts of this machine made in Asia, but I do know that the main housings are all molded/painted here. The clean air motor is actually the same one used in the new Constellation.

Every new vacuum contains parts made(I.E. switch, cord, bearings, etc) in Asia, but this is one of the few with the main parts and all of the assembly done in the US.

the motor is just like the constellation...

Reggie... i have to giggle a little... you left yourself wide open on that one!
