I imagine the reason why the Numatics are expensive here is because of the 120-volt motor and North American cord and plug that must be installed. Not sure if these are installed in the UK, or at the Nacecare facility in Toronto, Canada. In any case, the proportion of vacs created for the North American market must be miniscule compared to the numbers created for 220volt Europe. So the added expenses and shipping and packaging are probably driving up the prices here. And because there are so few suppliers in the USA and Canada, these are marketed as special commercial machines. After all, we see no advertising for them, and you can’t even get them at Home Depot or Best Buy or even Costco.
