Simply lovely decal. I suspect this one has never been used considering the condition of the box.
Pretty much the largest most substantial paradichlorobenzene
gas sprayer I've seen, same goes for the FQ Air Polisher. These are hefty items. But they must have made a lot of these - who else has one? Color variations?
Nice looking attachment
but not interested in spraying parameno diclorobenzoic acid around
but perhaps it could have an alternative use?
Moths
LOL
I don't know
but I have been bitten by the filter queen bug
LOL
My new PN sounds like a fly buzzing at time
have to take the motor apart
see if it needs cleaning or something
as it acts erratic
might just not have been usde in a while
oooh well
maybe a massager right now would be more to my liking
The graphic art on the box looks like Hank Ketcham's work, artist of Dennis The Menace. Mid century modern furnishings, late fifties, early sixties, like I am slowly trying to gather up.
Filter Queen was darn serious about Moth Control. Inside the bottom casing is a free running turbine that spools up to alarming speeds. It screams and whines like a jet engine and the De-Motherer acts like a gyroscope on the end of the hose. The shuttered tip of the crystal cone opens directly over the turbine, dispersing the gas at 'jetspeed'.
I recall my Mom doing the Moth Control thing to all the closets and blanket chests twice a year. Smell didn't bother me and it faded quickly. Just as I enjoy the fumes of Gasoline when I fill the tank and I'll stick my nose in any jar of Vicks Metholated Rub.
