Filter Queen 500 Selling on craiglist & got a UK buyer?

Thinking of selling my old 50's filterqueen on craigslist & I have a buyer with a big sad story about his sick mom & him waiting for money from a big US transaction & this is his dream machine & he will send an US associate to buy the vac with check or money order.
Anyway seems fishy & isn't UK electric different?


I don't know why a guy from the UK is reading Los Angeles craigslist & wanting my name address & phone number.

his email is a gmail.com isn't that a free google email?

I've been getting alot of the so sorry you are selling your stuff if you need money heres a starter kit for $2 type but this one started normal & I didn't know where they lived as if you can really know.

Shame you got to deal with this stuff.
Least I sold a lux 2100 today so made some hose money.
I'd do ebay or here but the shipping is so expensive & the packaging & dragging big boxes to the PO is alot of work.

I can;t see how this guy has some US associate convieniently located to where I am to come pick up this vac & what ship it to the UK?

Also the mention of money order or check is not what I want.

So I keep it after all it is a filterqueen & whats one more...LOL
