I purchased a new Felix from my local U.K. Euronics store this morning. I purchased it online, as I was at work, and selected to collect it later. A few hours after placing my order the Dealer rang me to tell me that there was no stock of this model and he would have to refund me. I had ordered the Kudos, which is the very basic model that comes with nothing else other than the ET-1 power head, crevice tool and the upholstery tool. I think the Kudos is exclusive to Euronics Dealers. I asked if he had any of the other models available that he had displayed on his store's website, those were the Rosso, Vogue and Pet, unfortunately he did not.

He explained to me that after I had placed my order he had contacted Sebo to obtain more stock, Sebo had told him that apart from some very limited quantities of stock, they had no more. They told him that the Felix was about to be discontinued and dropped from the Sebo range entirely and would be replaced by another model. Sebo had told the Dealer to advise any of his customers that wanted a Felix to source stock and purchase one whilst they were still available.

I've since purchased a Vogue from another local Euronics store who had 2 left in stock, so I'm good.

I was wondering if anybody else had any information about this, whether it is in fact accurate information, and what may supersede the Felix if so?

Last year sebo discontinue the straight suction models here in the US.
I can still currently order sebo Alexis with the et1 power nozzle.
It's been a really good seller everywhere I worked at. I would imagine if they're replacing it they have designed something better in its place. I find it a great alternative to people who like The Lift Away platform. It's been made for almost 30 years now so I could see them replacing with something better.
One of my favorite upright vacuums for sure.

All the current Sebo Felix Eco models are discontinued as are the X1.1, X4 and X5 series uprights. The X series are being replaced with the X7 and X8 models and the Felix seems to be called Epower instead of Eco, but the models I've seen look the same. It is highly unlikely that Sebo will drop the Felix, not for several years anyway.

Interesting. Just had a quick Google of 'Felix Epower' and it seems a few paces are starting to stock them.

Pricing is the same as the Felix Eco range and the machines look identical. Spec also seems to be the same.

Possibly just a slight brand redesign so everything has the new Epower branding on it?

I won't be changing my Felix Eco for one thats for sure LOL

I just checked the United States Sebo web site, they have the Felix 1 premium, this is the one that includes the power head. I'm not an upright person, I much prefer canisters but I think for those who prefer uprights this is a very good choice. It's one of very few uprights that not only lets you turn off the spinning brush, but you can actually remove the power head and attach a hard floor brush.

Dear David,

Thank you for your email.

I am sorry to hear that there appears to be an issue with obtaining a Felix model. With regards to SEBO Felix machines, we have not discontinued these machines and there are no plans to do so as it is currently a more lighter upright, when compared to an X4 for example.

I hope this helps to reassure you, but do not hesitate to come back to me if you need any further assistance.

Kind Regards

It's definitely safe to say the Felix is here to stay for awhile !
When everybody was checking what was the average street price they were finding in the US? $699. ?

I just got a Sebo Felix in black onyx just before Christmas and it's definitely a nice cleaner. I got mine on sale for $599 from a dealer that was having a holiday sale. I do wish it had an onboard wand but since I do the bulk of my above floor cleaning with the central vac I can deal with the short hose.

I had a Felix Rosso, very nice machine. Easy bag change and tools on board. Enough suction to run a turbo

tool and the power nozzle is great, with the ability to change out the brush roll in less than a minute....
