my favorite...

my favorite vacuum would probably be my Oreck XL3600 40th Anniversary Edition or my Oreck XL21 which I am using right now. They are both very powerful vacuums and they do a great job grooming the low pile carpet in my house. They are also great at doing the italian stone floor in my kitchen

The XL21 is overall one of the best Orecks I have. Probably one of the best Orecks every made!

Hey there Logan!!! So nice to read that you already have your own vacuum repair business. Wish I would have had friends like you when I was a teen!

Good luck to you, Happy Holidays and welcome to Vacuumland!

I remember in 2005 when we used my grandmas G4 as a shampooer for the very first time.It came with a G5 video owners manual and I couldn't stop watching it. I was amazed of what it could do.

My favorite vacuum is Royal. I have at least 15 now ranging from a late 40's-52 model 215 to a 2005 8400. I appreciate the way Royal has maintained their design integrety through the years while still making them stronger in most ways. At the same time i have come to appreciate Kirby's too. I now have a collection of 4 including a 509, 560, D80 and a Legend II. The 509 and D80 are completely restored and the 560 and Legend II are original in excellent condition. For such big heavy brute the Legend is surpisingly easy and relaxing to use. I find my self using often.

Welcome to Vacuumland Logan!

Hello Logan

It's nice to see a young man like yourself have a genuine interest in things mechanical. A lot of young people today are totally absorbed in their I phones and computers never to discover how cool it is to build or repair something with their hands. You can learn a lot about many different items not just vacuums researching this site. I can tell you the two most important things I learned in my life is proper lubrication at all moving points/ parts and adjustment. If you learn to do this well you can keep anything mechanical running without wearing out for an extremly long time. To answer your question my favorite upright vacs are my 1952 model 62 Hoover and my model 69 Hoover. My canister vacs are Electrolux model XXX's I have 2 one is from the late 1930's the other is from the early 1950's. I also like to use my early 1950's Electrolux model LX I got from my aunt who bought it new. Good luck Bill,

Ooooh!

Thank you very much, Ben! I also have a Electrolux XXX! It works awesome. It has everything with it. I will post a picture sometime. :)

My favorite vacuum would have to be my Compact Electra C9 Canister vacuum whit turbo brush look high and low to find one finally got my hands on one 2 years ago love it its my daily driver its in really good shape to

I'm still sticking with the Fantom Thunder.

Mainly for sentimental reasons. Plus, they have always cleaned well, and have been reliable for me. My 2nd favorite would be a tie between my Rainbow D4 and my Filter Queen Majestic.

It would have to be my Electro-Hygiene 903. It's powerful, durable, maneuverable, and just a great all-round cleaner. I also used to sell them about 40 years ago.

My favorite?

Oh, jeez, you're gonna make me pick just one?

I would have to say my favorite cleaner in my collection is either my Hoover 300 'Special', or my Eureka ESP 6.5 Amp upright. If you want to hear and feel deep agitation, you've gotta see that ESP.

I don't have a picture of the Eureka, but I'll get one soon. It's the one with the burgundy base and bag.
