Whats your favorite tool to help you restore your vacuums?

Mine, other than Testors model paint., is a magnetic pick-up, that has a fine tip. Great for getting into places like the one pictured below: (PS you can see those stains I was talking about on the Silverado)

Pic looks so familiar! Love those machines. I use a lot of car clean/ polish products. Maybe because it's sitting there/handy?

Since my focus has only been on Kirby vacuums so far, I would say my favorite tool would have to be my bench polisher. It's indispensable in bringing the aluminum back to a brilliant shine. I'm hoping to get a Dremel for Christmas in order to polish in a couple of areas that a polishing wheel just can't get into.

My favorite tool for restoration is my bench grinder with varible speed and a polishing head with flexible shaft

ITs fancy! :P
