Another Orphan?

Quite similar in appearance to my Fantom FM709K, is my Kenmore canister 115.24196210.

Same style of foot-operated power on/off switch.
Same style of pre- and post- motor filters.
Same style of dual tab hose locking contrivance.

115? I thought Kenmore vacs were 116.

Anyway, after some more research:

This vacuum is a non-serviceable model, which means that replacement parts and the manual are not made or offered for this model.

So does that mean it's an orphan as well?

Intro & thank you

I just stumbled onto this site & love the retro illustration with the Electrolux.

@dysonman – Thank you so much for your comprehensive explanation of Fantom's history! I own a Fantom Lightning that I bought new, opting for that model due to having so many stairs in my home. At one point, before they completely went away, I found a spare model at a repair shop that I bought for parts.

I really like it and will use as long as feasible. Am not a collector like so many of this group's members.

==> Does anyone know where I can get more HEPA filters for it? Or if there are filters by another brand that work with the Ligntning?

==> By the way, do I have to make a certain amount of posts before being able to access the formatting for my posts (it's greyed out)?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

Fantom Help

When I found this site there appeared a picture of a pickup truck with multiple Fantoms leaning against it. It was dated 2013. I was unnable to contact the person because I was not a member. I registered and could not get back to this site.
I need a lightning power-head. The neighbor dog carried mine off.

HELP!!!
