Actually...

Yes, he does have the larger model, but the smaller ones were * supposedly* a 9 amp and an 11 amp. Fantom did make a 10 amp model but it was the Fury. Btw I say supposedly because I have seen a picture of a 9 amp Kenmore Destiny, which was identical to the Fantom Thunder, and heard rumors of a 9 amp Thunder, but have never seen one. Also, yours, as you can tell, has the black inside of the collection bin, and dark purple accents. Later Thunders had a light purple inside of the bin and cyclone assembly, and the bin latch and height adjustment would be light purple also.

Yes I plan on selling this Fantom. It says its a 12amp vacuum. I have yet to test it which I am getting ready to do now!!!!

You even got the optional extension hose and the extra pet upholstery tool... nice! Just a warning, if you put it on youtube, you'll get about a million offers to buy it.... these things seem to have a cult following now! I did love them when they first came out.... do you have any other Fantoms?

I know absolutely nothing about them. I have read the owners manuel. This is the first I have bought and I plan on selling it. I have cleaned it completely up.

Oh! Seeing that picture reminds me of the Fantom Fury I had in the late 90s. There are no words for how much I hated that vacuum. Maybe they improved with the Thunder? I don't know.

Still, In my opinion, the Thunder is the best Fantom. Although it is heavy and clunky. Great Vacuum you got there, and cool you even got the Attachments.
