Nice! I would get one but the way my lawnmower blade is styled it does the same thing, and sucks litter into the bag. I always thought these were mower/vacs all in one but I never knew it was only just a vacuum.
That would be nice to own. They seem pretty powerful.
It would take forever where I live as there is about 75 trees in our yard. We have a craftsman riding lawn mower with a double bag unit. I use our Honda push mower for the grass. I use my Ryobi gas powered leaf blower. We got the first wave done in 1 hour 45 minutes which is usually 4 hours if we just use leaf blowers. If tomorow or Saturday is warm enough another 2 to 3 hours at least.
What leaves and straw I get-Its mulched in place-My Greenworks and Kobalt cordless electric mowers just grind up the leaves, pine straw and pine cones so well-they disappear! And Kevins Bobcat ZTR mower has mulch blades in it,too. That Craftsman Lawn vac is appropriate here-since Sears has gone under-its a collector vacuum, now!
I always liked these, unfortunately not enough room in my garage for one though and my mulching mower does the job quite well and this way there’s no bag to empty.
Does this machine chop up the leaves?
My Dad once had a snapper lawnmower and he bought the “snapperizer” attachment which was a round mesh grate that fitted under the machine between the blade and the deck and the blade would be forced to keep chopping the leaves until tiny enough to fit through the grate and then in the bag. I loved it and I would love it if I could fit it on my craftsman mower deck, But likely can’t. You could really get a lot of leaves in the bag this way and they made for A great addition to the compost pile. I was really disappointed when my Father deleted the snapper for an aeriens mower. It’s very heavy and hard to use. He had a few snappers though. I wanted to get myself a snapper but at the time I had little money and my Mom agreed to buy me the lawnmower for my first house. I chose a craftsman with the Honda engine as it was $279 at the time...that was 18 years ago. I still have it and have not had a need to replace it and have only had to have it serviced once. Several years though we’ve had a yard service mow but this year I did it myself since am at home more with Covid.
Here’s my Cub, love it, it was one of the first ones out, it has a hose attachment, it comes off, I hardly use it. The newer ones are always on it, actually I think I like this way better.
I replaced the dirtbag once, it’s pretty heavy duty.
It has a banana shaped blowing nozzle too, comes in handy to blow your neighbors leaves back. Lol
I won’t borrow it out anymore, my old neighbor borrowed it once, and he cracked the gas tank.
