What is the sequence or layers does one switch over from dry to wet pick up.

I know the ball valve sits on the canister bottom after removing the paper bag.

The manual seems to have a conflict.

Thanks.

I just saw this!

First ball valve.
No paper filter or bag (but a silverking polypropylene disk filter is a great idea since it will not fall apart when wet. I use them on my Fairfax when shampooing).
Keep the cloth washable filter in place.
Keep the white electrostatic filter in place.

Hop that helps!

Thanks, Nicholas

I appreciate your answer. I accidentally did what you said and it worked. I had to do something because the urgency of removing moisture from my car carpets. Unfortunately drying them out has been a problem with the damp weather we have been having. So using the Fairfax, leaving windows open when it is not raining and also running a box fan inside to get air movement is all I can do.

Take care and have a prosperous New Year.
