The story is almost as great as the find!
While visiting family friends in Hanford CA they took us on a tour of a home they just purchaced and plan to restore.
Home was built in 1906 and has been boarded up for the last 30 years. Pretty original on the inside
With lots of "junk" left inside. My brother who happens to be a Kirby salesman walked past the "junk"
He did a double take..he said wow that's a Kirby Ezee! Family friend asked my brother if the vacuum ment anything to him as he was planning on taking it to the dump...my brother responded with yes the was the first Kirby made in 1914 and NO DON'T DO THAT and take to the dump! Family friend gave it to him
we pluged it in and you could hear something but the motor needs work. Haven't been able to find much info on it. Anyone have photos or diagrams? Are there any still around?
