Orange (?) model U 4053, in great shape. Very fond of this model and it runs excellent! I think this is just a one speed model tho.....perhaps the Hoover experts can inform me on this.......but it runs nice and smoothly, just like a Hoover should.....!

Bag close up..... this model has the snaps instead of the zipper, and all but one are still good.

Aqua Model 69, one of Hoovers most famous sellers.........a little rough.....but works very well. Totally disassembled this and cleaned each piece. Another smooth running Hoover......this is a two speed model........

Lucky? Well yes, sometimes, but with luck comes a LOT of footwork and searching.....and many trips that leave me emptyhanded.........Ebay is always a good source, but often you are at the mercy of terrible packers and shippers or sellers who are not quite honest in their descriptions. Most collections that we have are a LOT of work and searching, and along with luck comes the skill of the hunt.............

WOW!!

Awesome finds Jimmy, I especially like that U4053, never seen that one before!
That must be a promo model, it would date from about 1975 or 1976, it looks absolutely beautiful. Is that color red or orange, I can't quite tell.

You guys find the best stuff out there!

Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy!

I cannot wait to get the Hoover fidge from you. It is going to be well loved at my house. People just don't know what an amazing collection of items you have. I like the ever growing Hoover products in your home. The U4053 is beautiful and a rare bird. The 69 turned out beautifully too. I have another base for one if you want to part out the one that I have. Jimmy, you have it right when you say that you leave many times emptyhanded. We make collecting look easy, but in reality there are many trips that are disappointing. Ebay is helpful, but as you mention too it is a gamble to say the least.

Thanks for posting the beautiful pictures. Hard work does have its rewards as your photos demonstrate. Best of all, don't you just love the "Restore"? We really do have some great thrift stores around here! Thanks for posting!

You have some really neat stuff there and the often missing spatula for the blender too.. I see some other stuff in the background like a GE blender etc.. how about some more picts of the rest of it.

What is the...

dryer in the background of your new finds? It looks like a Philco? I like your lime green blender!

Guy
