Found this on Craigslist in the Chicago area a few weeks ago and brought it for $20. I think it is a rare finding. What does everyone else think?

I've been told these are uncommon but NOT rare

I can agree, since rare is like seeing 2 or 3 in a lifetime. I will say they ARE uncommon, as this is only the 3rd one i've seen. (2/3 were not in person) I actually do have one, and at first I thought it was rare, because up until that point, i've never seen one. It was my grandma's freind's aunt's who died when she was 101. It was only used for a couple of years before she went into a nursing home, and she died around 2004 so it wasn't used for long. Mine is from 1997 so it wasn't used for long. The brushroll is in perfect shape, and the vacuum is also in good shape, except from some scratches from storage. It works very well, I just need to shampoo the bag. It does not have the original hose or other attachments. I also have it's cousin, the 1995 mega boss world vac, which was $5 at a garage sale. It was filthy, but is now fully functional. I'm more of a hoover elite person (I always thought they were more reliable, and sturdier) - but for some reason I'm attracted to the world vac versions of the bravos.
