They seem to be the same as General Electric, I have one somewhere, as well as the GE. They work pretty well. There's an old thread concerning both these models in the Archives.

General Electric supplied these for Eureka........they are indeed the same machine, except for some of the tools. If you look at the bare floor brush supplied with the GE, it looks very similar to a Eureka floor brush.
I bet you that GE first asked Eureka to give supply the attachments for their version, then GE reciprocated by supplying Eureka with the main unit.
On second thought, it seems more likely that Eureka bought the design from General Electric after GE's vac division disappeared in the 1970's. I think that the Eureka version was only sold after GE stopped selling their version in the 1970's. You can see that this Whisk has the typeface Eureka used for their name in the 1980's. So this is a 1980's model.

AFAIK, G.E. offered a hand held portable as early as the 1940's to supplement the upright. Does anyone know an exact year when Oreck started offering the Buster B along with their upright? I know there was a Hoover Portapower with the Oreck name on it at one time.

Just thought I would add information for future readers.
The earliest date I found this vacuum for sale was in an advertisement from Sunday, June 6, 1982, and it sold for $49.99 MSRP. That is equal to $134.02 in 2019 dollars.
