Eureka Vangaurd Long shot

Greetings,

I recently ended up with a Eureka Vangaurd like the one in the ad. The bag is shot and needs a little TLC so I thought I would start here in case anyone has a square box top bag or other parts that they would like to sell. The top of the bag with the vinyl is in tact so if anyone has had luck sewing this on to another bag or other tips I welcome them all!

Do you need brush strips for it?

I know I have those, will look for other specific parts if you want.

What is shot on the bag? Depending on what’s going on, I might be able to preserve. The shut down has really helped me with some vacuum skills. Among them, replacing zippers, tear fixes, hole fixes, etc.

The Bag

The original bag has about a 4 inch hole at the bottom of the back of it, worn thin and pretty thread bare. I am not sure it is salvageable.
