Most of you who know me know I rarely even LOOK at anthing if it less than 40 years old...but this was in such good shape at the Yokefellow thrift shop,I figured for 8 bucks I couldnt go wrong, man...I had forgotten just how well these clean!

A few scratches..

On top and FULL of carpet fresh, but I gave it a once over and replaced the paper bag and belt, works like new!!!

Very nice find, Hans...

Those are excellent machines.. some of the best Eureka ever made!

Congratulations! I agree... a real steal for $8!

Thanks for sharing!

Thats the exact same eureka i was talking about in my topic over in the vintage forum! (Whats youre opinion on Eurekas?) I thought i remembered it saying "upright" on the bag, but this picture made it clear. It says eureka! I should go buy it if the still have it...

There were some generic bags with a similar striped design that had "Upright" printed on them, obviously to look like the originals, but not to infringe copyright by using different text... :)

But like some generic Hoover bags saying "Vacuum Cleaner", "The Senior/Junior Cleaner" or "To Fit - Whatever Model"...
