One of the screw holes for the motor broke. Under tension with the belt on the motor sits crooked now and I don’t want to break it any further. Is there a clever way to fix this?

"fix this ?"

Possibly with a longer, thinner screw inserted carefuly & gently.I think I have used one of the 4 front door screws from a 1205 or newer Electrolux.Good luck.

If you still have the little piece that broke off, I'd try plasti-welding it back on with a hobby size gun and then slip some heat shrink tubing (you would likely need semi rigid or fully rigid) around the entire screw post for extra strength and durability. Have not tried this in practice but it was an idea I had as I have encountered this issue as well - just don't have the tools yet.
