Eureka Rotomatic 800

Today I found this Eureka Rotomatic model 800 at my local Goodwill outlet store. I've seen newer Rotomatic's there a couple of times but they are always pretty beat up. This one was dirty but was free of dents and scratches, just a few very minor chips. When I learned that it could have been built in 1952, like me, I decided to buy it. (It could be from 1953 too.) It really cleaned up nicely and it's original cloth hose is in excellent shape too. It runs like new and is very quiet. It is missing the wands, floor tool, and the four tools. It's worth completing for sure. Does anyone have a complete set of tools and wands in good shape they would like to part with?

I'm guessing that filter bags are probably not to be found. It had an original Eureka bag that had been duct taped and was falling apart. The cloth bag is still in good shape. I managed to fit a Compact/Tristar bag and it seems to seal.

That's a very cool looking vacuum. Does it have wheels?

This was their first of the then new round 'pot type' vacs with rotating(or Swivel)intakes.The next red/gray would have 3 slightly different versions and then a larger Eureka(also seen as Singer)was added.The wheel dolly was optional.
The filter around the side of the fan housing under cloth bag should be checked.
I may have paper bags and a few attachments as I continue to sort parts.

as competition to General Electrics first swivel top, the 815 the ge was 99.95 and the Eureka was 69.95 and had just as much power and weighed less, but both sold well, the ge was a bit more deluxe
