Hi,

Having discovered all about the Rainbow D2's power nozzle at my grandparents' house yesterday, and knowing by the nameplate it was once a Wards Signature PN (the motor assembly was consequently originally a 2-wire), I want to ask you all this question:

Do any of you have any Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team motorized nozzles from the '70s-'80s with changed front labels and/or modified motor assemblies?

I re-iterate: while the front label may say "Eureka" or "Montgomery Ward" or "Rainbow" or whatever, the nameplate, however, may reveal otherwise.

The attached photo, courtesy of Mark Berger aka meba2233, is of a 1980s Eureka Roto-Matic Power Team nozzle which, while it says Eureka on the front label, according to Mark Berger, actually began life on a Wards Signature canister.

My Eureka PN, as seen in another thread with the VGIII, has no ID label or plate anywhere, only what is on the top of the case & headlight. The motor that came with it is a standard PN motor, with a 1989 date on it, not much else to go on really...

Oh, and the colour is the same as the current Blue-line Sanitaires... :)
