Romain, these Eurekas were a limited edition model which were sold sometime in the early or mid 2000's, and are now of themselves vintage nearing 20 years old. They were produced in low numbers and sold in even less numbers - nobody bought them. It might not be worth $180 but I would have no qualms paying $100 for one.

I have one!

Bought mine on Amazon in 2005. It was Eureka's 95th (why not wait 'til their 100th?) anniversary machine. I saved the box. I put it together but never vacuumed with it. The clear bumper is starting to get cloudy and a little sticky. It's basically a Sanitaire in drag. Only thing I wish they hadn't cheaped out on was a headlight. Really like the houndstooth bag.

Nice! I think Eureka wasn't wanting to be outdone by Hoover with their Constellation revival and wanted to join in on the party, and they created this vacuum.

It's definitely a nice looking machine. At first glance, it's got a great kitsch factor, but then when I look at it for what it really is—a gussied up Sanitaire—it's hard to get overly excited about it. I'm sure it's a decent enough machine, but I wouldn't pay $180 for it. Half that would be closer to realistic for me. That said, I do love the winged 'E' logo on the panel where the headlight should be. The logo needs to light up. I'm assuming it takes F&G bags, since it doesn't have the metal slide-off closure at the top.
