eureka imperial upright

Ive been looking for a eureka upright fir a while found this on local crcraigslist any body know anything about these models any good

This appears to be an 1980s model. These older Eurekas are workhouse.

Yep, that's an excellent vacuum cleaner. Nice looking color scheme with the chrome accents.

Great vac.Was also seen in a rose type color.May be closer to early 90s.There was also matching Mighty Mite canister(original type using C bag).

In decent shape picked it up for 25 bucks will clean up gonna replace my kirby 511 as my daily driver. Do you guys think she can outperform the old kirby. My wife thought the okd kirby was just to heavy for her.

Kirby vs Eureka

I'd have to say the Kirby would win that battle, the airflow and raw power makes the Kirby such an efficient cleaner. Although the Eureka is still an excellent choice in cleaner.

This cleaner is from the early/mid 1990s, one of the last consumer uprights to descend from the classic Eureka upright mold established in the 1950s.
