I finally got a blue ESP Self Propelled! I’ve been after one of these for many years! She needs new bearings, a new bulb, and a VG I! I’ve obtained the ST conversion and will be using HEPA. The bag is almost pristine and she’s had a partial spa. Thanks Phillip!

I have a VERY rare, early verstion of this...

That is dated 1976. Mine has the vinyl bag, and only has a 3.5 amp motor.

Had to try it

I had to try it out. I will not use it until I have the motor rebuilt. Man I’ve never used one of these that the self propelled feature worked, it is smooth! Just love it!

Hi ericaustin, my name is Gabriel and I live in Dallas too, I have to say u got a really nice vacuum find and I hope you'll give a lot of TLC, I believe yours is a early 80's model and I think the blue ESP self propelled models were made from 1976 to 1982/83. And I was wondering where u got this at?

Hi

Hi Gabriel! I got this from Phillip Mueller.. Nice to see another Dallas collector! I think it ran to the late 80’s. It needs new bearings among other things. My friend Erich is going to do it for me, he used to be known as ttuee on here.

You know that's funny, yesterday on the 4th you got a vintage eureka and I got a vintage eureka too, it's a red hot shot model 1923 I ordered from eBay, I posted it on vacuumland, check it out. It works great!

I'm so glad you adopted her and gave her the love I didn't have time to give.
I thought it had been a trade in but actually I got it from a rummage sale in town from the County Club area so it was used by the up and up in a very large home. Those transmission wheels are flawless unlike most that are found to be cracking.
I just couldn't leave her there but didn't want or need her as I'm OUT OF SPACE. See it all worked out.

Looks great Eric! Philip definitely knows what he's doing when it comes to vacuum cleaners and many other things! I definitely trust his knowledge and expertise!
