How come nobody told me about these? The Easy Glide is a late 60's clean air machine from Eureka, that much i know.
Any additional info, thoughts, or impressions would be appreciated, thanks...

I have a good idea on these,

It's likely like this:

That bottom portion appears to come apart in 2, with the latch on the front. the motor is on the base, with the suction on one end, exhaust on the bottom (Hence, "Easy Glide"?). No wheels, "Glides" on carpet. the upper portion is nothing more than a cord rewind. the rest of the bottom shell's space is devoted to the bag (And, of course, the brush-roll).

I'm fairly sure that's how this cleaner functions.

Anyone own one

Do any of you guys own one of these. I'd love to see it in action as once again it's a vacuum that wasn't available over here in the UK ( I might be wrong but 99.999% sure it wasn't over here )

It's basically a Eureka version of GE's little electric carpet sweeper with the chrome handle. Methinks this was made by Panasonic for Eureka in the same era that Panasonic made that Emperor upright with the bag first configuration.

Easy Glide

There are rear wheels that have a rubber sleeve that fits on them for shag carpet. The upper panel is just a trim piece that covers cord hooks. As above all other components are in base. Atts were optional. Brush is difficult to remove compared to the F-G style.
