I found this cutie on FB Market Place a few weeks ago. After a little clean up that burnt orange luster was brought back to life ( no thread hi jackin please )

Lovely Eureka Sweet Sixteen, Keith! Too bad that Eureka did not provide the older Tool Pak with this model: the older design had an extra nub to place the carpet nozzle when you changed floor heads.

Is that a 7-foot hose? Nice!

Very nice machine! Love the Eurekas from this era! You're lucky that you found it with all of the original paperwork.

Too bad Eureka didn't furnish a hose with a suction bleeder on the handle! Only way to control suction was to bend down the the canister top! Oh! My back!

I taught in a school that had one of those.

It was lost in the school fire.

I'm digging the retro orange color. You put a new filter on it. I swear a good majority of them have dirty filters.
I like you have everything that came from the factory. It looks new in box nice job.

The last canister vac my mom had before switching to Electrolux, looked almost identical to this one; right down to the color.
Hers had the power nozzle with woodgrain and a headlight.

Another beautiful score! It always amazes me the things you turn up and in such pristine condition!

That's a lot like the one my ex-wife made me get rid of except mine had a power nozzle. What a great little machine that was! Oh well, spilt milk and all that...

I found one similar to it a couple of years ago but it's just the canister and hose with no tools. I ended up bending the little lock button down and out of the way so I could put an Electrolux wand and power nozzle on it. It was a bodge job but it worked. What the heck, it was only ten bucks.

Very nice little bare-bones cleaner for the time.That 70's tangerine color is timeless. That is so cool you ave the original paperwork too It looks like Mr. Manning is still alive and well in Clovis, and he was only 27 when he bought that vacuum. Amazing!

Companies always went into so much detail back then too on the design of the cleaner and why it was made the way it was and what all the little features are, fun to read the sales pitch.

I have the later or last version of this model they made way out into the 1990's with a powernozzle, called the "Ironsides". Sadly no powernozzle was with it when I got it.

They are good sturdy little vacuums and this one was so well kept too.
